**Job Overview**

**Qualifications**
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program (Canadian/US)
- Certified of Eligible for Certification by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada
- Eligible to work in Canada/Ontario

**Responsibilities**
- Work with our team of neurologists and administrators to ensure excellent clinical care and patient satisfaction.
- Obtain and document vital signs, past medical history, medications and current symptoms.
- Use our EMR (Telus CHR) to document encounters including the neurological examination, assessment and plan as determined by the neurologist.
- Provide routine patient follow-up and support.
- Assist in patient education.
- Experience and an interest in developing educational resources for patients is an asset.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent clinical care, customer service skills, and an ability to work independently is required.
- Excellent phone skills with patients are required
- Fluency in English is required.
- A foundational knowledge in neurology is strongly recommended
- Experience in chronic neurologic diseases is an asset
- Knowledge of medications frequently used in patients with headache, epilepsy, headache, Parkinson’s disease and other neurologic conditions is an asset.
- Experience in preparing nerve blocks and reconstituting Botox is an asset
- Excellent computer skills and experience with our EMR (Telus CHR) is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- English not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
