This is a full-time, 4–5 days per week, in-clinic role.ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Care Coordination: Build strong relationships with clients, address concerns, ensure positive outcomes; coordinate care and refer to specialists as needed; write and renew prescriptions; book quarterly appointments and follow-up visitsClient Intake & Assessments: Conduct thorough medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations; order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other assessmentsTreatment Planning & Implementation: Recommend and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision; prescribe medications and therapies that meet provincial laws and clinic protocolsClinical Procedures: Perform routine procedures such as pap tests, wound care, and other clinical tasksClient Education: Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and condition managementRecord Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records using the clinic’s EHR systemMedical Support for Dr. Cook: Assist with scripting and follow-through for Dr. Cook’s client appointmentsCollaboration & Teamwork: Work with physicians, NDs, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated care; support multidisciplinary team focused on outcomes and innovationProfessional Development: Engage in ongoing education to stay current with advancements in functional and integrative medicineQuality Improvement & Clinic Operations: Support clinic-wide initiatives to improve care quality and operational efficiencyQualifications & CompetenciesBachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent Physician Assistant registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or equivalent from another Canadian provincial jurisdictionMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, integrative medicine, or a functional medicine settingStrong knowledge of functional medicine principles and practicesKnowledge / experience / interest in preventative medicine and longevity is an assetExcellent clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered careProficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systemsOrganizational & Time ManagementEthical & Professional ConductIf you’re passionate about helping people live longer, healthier lives—and want to be part of a clinic that’s leading the future of personalized care—apply now to join Vivagen Life Sciences in Yorkville.Why work at Vivagen Life SciencesEngaging team work environmentBenefits, Stat Holidays and Paid VacationMonday-Friday work weekThis is a full-time position (minimum 4 days per week) scheduled between Monday and Friday.
