**Job Summary**
Daily Functions
Sales and Inventory Analysis
- Function as a planning specialist, run and review inventory flow reports
- Develop and maintain Key Account / Independents actual sales tracking vs. forecast / budget analysis
- Prepare and review month end inventory analysis and discuss corrective actions
- Meet with key account managers to discuss planned product promotions in order to produce more accurate forecasts
- Provide post promotional analysis to sales team (account promotions and national advertising) as necessary.
- Participate in the review of end of life programs/determine path forward for slow turning product and obsolete inventory with Sales and Purchasing
- Assist in Analyzing the yearly sales Budgets in coordination with the Senior Key Account Executives
- Provide major support for the development of key account presentations
- Generating Purchase orders
- Updating internal systems with accurate on hand dates
- working inside vendor portals
Analysis and Forecasting
- Perform Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as business needs arise utilizing readily available sources of data
- Update and validate forecasts in system as provided by Sales Team
- Calculate forecast by using historical data and trends for customers that do not provide a forecast
- Collaborate, validate and adjust forecast as needed with Sales Team and Senior Key Account Executives
- Provide and monitor forecasts with key suppliers
**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
**Qualifications**:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst with particular experience in retailer sales and inventory budgeting and analysis
- Advanced oral communications skills and strong ability to write and prepare documents/reports/correspondence in a concise, logical, grammatically professional and appropriate format
- Clear understanding of end to end supply chain and supporting business processes
Skills/Specialized Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task
- Self directed and motivated to independently accomplish tasks, well organized.
- Ability to develop analytical processes and tracking methods
- Ability to understand and maneuver between customer information sources/systems and corporate systems
- Knowledge of Retailers
- Experience with the Priority System would be beneficial, but not mandatory
**Salary**: $49,810.43-$60,000.00 per year
