**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the Junior Production Planner is responsible for planning and reviewing incoming order requirements, material availability and production resources to ensure customer orders are produced and delivered on time.

**Essential Functions**
- Develop and modify production schedules in ERP system as required based on incoming work orders, due dates, demand forecast and expedited customer orders.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of raw material usage and inventory levels to ensure materials are available to meet production demand
- Ongoing communication with production supervisors and other stakeholders regarding production schedules
- Provide floor support and participate in problem solving efforts.
- Work closely with purchasing and supply chain team to inform of raw material requirements to meet production demand and timely delivery
- Participate in daily Production Meeting
- Assist in the development and support of continuous process improvement projects and labour calculations for each product family
- Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials consumption, rates of production and other production information.
- Assist in material management and cycle count activities
- Other projects or assignments as may be required

**Education**
- A Bachelor's Degree in a technical, supply chain management or business field is required.

**Experience**
- 1 to 3 years of production planning or related experience.
- Experience with sheet metal or electrical product manufacturing preferred

**Skills**
- Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, and supply chain processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical, analytical and computer skills
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office tools & ERP systems
- Excellent Planning, Organization, and time management skills
- Strong Teamwork and Collaboration Skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
