**Resident Support Aide (RSA)**

This Amazing job opportunity is to work in long-term care and retirement homes located in the **Halton Region **which includes **Oakville, Burlington, and Milton.** You must be willing to commute within the region to apply.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Hardworking, compassionate, positive, solution-oriented, professional, and flexible
- LTC experience is considered an asset
- CPIC with Vulnerable Sector (within past 6 months)
- Three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine

The specific responsibilities and duties vary slightly between facilities, as well as from shift to shift. These expectations will be communicated during the site-specific orientation to each facility.

**Duties May Include**:

- Providing support to Personal Support Workers in caring for residents
- Visiting with residents (one on one supports)
- Portering resident
- Washing floors, Light touch surface cleaning
- Setting & clearing tables
- Washing dishes
- Sorting laundry
- Treating soiled laundry
- Washing and drying laundry
- Folding laundry
- Making beds
- Snack cart/refreshments

**Salary Range**:$18.50 - 25.50
- Top scale includes $7/hr. incentive for last minute shift premiums
- We offer the potential to work up to 44 hours/week.
- Overtime may be available upon approval and emerging needs
- **Three (3) Supervisory references will also be required in the following format**:
