Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Counsel to join our legal team at Stardust Group of Companies. The General Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulation In Canada and supporting our Legal team in the USA.

**Duties**:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions on behalf of the company
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal advice and support
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company
- Manage external legal counsel when necessary
- Ensure that all legal operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a General Counsel or in a similar role
- Strong expertise in legal drafting, research, writing, negotiation, and the use of tools like Lexis-Nexis
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admittance to the state bar association
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion

Pay: $160,000.00-$225,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate of Standing (preferred)
