**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crew members on-site to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery including skid steers and backhoes as needed for project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, ensuring they are well-maintained and safe for use.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on the proper use of power tools, hand tools, and safety practices.
- Assist in digging, trenching, and other excavation tasks while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with foreman to ensure timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used throughout the project.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in construction or related fields with a focus on equipment operation.
- Proficiency in equipment operations and rigging techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is an asset.
- Experience using various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration among team members and management.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of work.
- Clear understanding of locates, job packages, and work procedures
- Able to direct a team of 5 on backend duties

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour
