Caregiver

**Overview**

**Duties**
As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administering medications as prescribed and ensuring compliance with medication schedules.
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Assisting with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Supporting clients with dementia care by employing patience and understanding in daily interactions.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicating effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or similar caregiving environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Skills in meal preparation that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- A background in senior care or caregiving that demonstrates compassion and reliability.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
