**The role**:
**Sales & Customer Service
- 60% of your time is spent here**
- Responsible for gathering new customers through provided leads and growing book of business of assigned customers
- Execute a consistent sales process to determine customer needs, capitalize on opportunities and close deals
- Available to professionally interact with Customers during normal business hours and after hours when necessary
- Maintain Customer New Truck Delivery standards. Including professionally delivering each unit to maximize customer experience (Vehicle education, presentation of Parts/Service support plan, correct paperwork) to build the foundation for customer loyalty
- Attends and participates in sales meetings
- Works with the various departments (parts, service, other) to ensure that customer vehicles are ready as expected.
- Enhance and up sell truck sales and parts with Service department.
- Participate in industry trade shows and execute truck demonstrations and test drives as applicable.
**Ad Hoc Projects - 20% and its important**
- Maintains accurate and efficient records
- Assist in appraisal and evaluation of trade-ins
- Discusses and implements special promotions
**Education/Certification**
- Has successfully completed the AMVIC course and is licensed through them
**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years as a Salesperson in the Heavy Truck Industry
- Ability to understand and effectively use computer equipment including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work in a high pressure environment safely
- Must be able to present yourself in a positive, professional manner to colleagues and customers
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, customers and the general public
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
