Title: Junior Product Marketing Manager

**Summary**

As a Junior Product Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic and analytical aspects of our Product Categories within the Canadian market. This position involves a blend of activities, from conducting market research to assisting with go-to-market strategies and liaising with our overseas Product Division team. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required to ensure effective communication with our international counterparts.
**Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to**:
Strategic Support:

- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand consumer needs and industry trends, ensuring our products are aligned with market demands.
- Perform competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends and discover new opportunities, keeping our product lineup competitive and innovative.
- Assist in developing and executing multi-year product roadmaps that align with our strategic goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product designs, features, and user experiences.
- Continuously gather and incorporate feedback from key stakeholders, including customers and retail partners, to enhance our product offerings and positioning.

New Product Introduction Process:

- Support the launch process for new products in Canada (NPI), from conception to market introduction, ensuring a seamless process.
- Assist in crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that include competitive retail pricing, product positioning and market fit, promotional planning, and channel engagement - Develop detailed product pages that highlight consumer oriented features, characteristics, and specs, to easily communicate the value of new products to consumers.
- Act as a liaison between Marketing, and Sales teams, ensuring timely and consistent communication of product updates, launch timelines, and strategic priorities across the organization.

Liaison with Overseas Product Division:

- Leverage relationships with overseas product planning and portfolio management team members to maximize opportunities in the Canadian market.
- Negotiate and confirm Transfer Pricing (TP) with overseas counterparts, ensuring our value chains meet profitability targets.

Business Management:

- Monitor, analyze, and strategically influence key product performance metrics, including net sales revenue, profitability ,SKU productivity, strategic category sales, and aged inventory, delivering expected KPI results.
- Assist in defining and executing a channel management strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- 3 year College or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in consumer goods product management, marketing, or sales, preferably in the small or major appliance industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
- Strong project management skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and PowerBI
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical, data visualization, and storytelling skills
- Experience with product development processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the Canadian appliance market.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing and executing brand and go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and promotional planning.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
