**Job Description**:
ADGA is hirina an Information Management Specialist to provide support to a Project Control Office to improve how they manage their information for their ongoing projects.

The Information Management Specialist must act as the Information management Officer (IMO). The Information Management Specialist must develop and maintain an Information Management plan while ensuring interaction and coordination of other interfacing projects while supporting staff from various Military, Public Service and Contractor teams.

Specific tasks to be accomplished by the Contractor must include but are not restricted to:

- Gather and consolidate IM requirements for projects managed;
- Develop and maintain an information architecture that assists sub-sections and aligns with the overall information architecture concept;
- Provide Data architecture, advice and testing of the platform and Geo tasks. Specifically, shaping solutions to adopt industry data management best practices and, where appropriate, military standards;
- Develop, maintain and contribute to an information management plan that interacts with different information management tools such as, but not limited to, RDIMS, MS-Office 365 and SharePoint
- Provide information management support and advice to all project stakeholders and EMT personnel;
- Participate in and coordinate project related meetings and working groups; and
- Liaise and coordinate with other projects and IMOs.

**Qualifications**:

- A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Management; or suitable engineering or technical field required.
- Minimum of four years of demonstrated experience in the following areas:

- Client/Server architecture and related technologies;
- Data architecture definition, framework and implementation for military systems;
- System Integration: hardware and software, (COTS and/or custom developed) components into new or existing systems;
- Database architecture and system interfaces;
- System life-cycle management;
- Experience in business process improvement and knowledge of business intelligence tool-sets;
- Experience developing or working with architectural concepts, strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, architectural patterns, frameworks and principles;
- Training and support material;
- Information management strategies and processes in support of change management activities;
- Database design.
- A minimum of six years of demonstrated experience within the last eight years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering.
- A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in each of the following:

- Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
- Training plan with the ability to clearly communicate, in writing and orally;
- Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management;
- Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks or strategies;
