**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, handling inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks to support our veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care.

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the veterinarian's time.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management software.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist in managing inventory for supplies and medications as needed.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Provide basic laboratory support when necessary, including sample collection and preparation for testing.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine love for animals and their owners.
- Proficient in using computers and veterinary practice management software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures is considered an asset but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
