As part of the Trillium project based in Ottawa, we are seeking a qualified Procurement Intern to work as part of the procurement team, including assisting the Procurement team in progress capture, schedule updates, quantities take - off and JDE reconciliation/update.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Studies drawings and specifications issued to the field and reports to the Contract Administrators of any ambiguities, interferences or errors found on drawings, specifications and assigned work
- Capture progress based on commodities on a daily basis and mark it in the relevant drawings
- Prepare daily construction progress report for their area
- Verifies the accuracy of surveys and dimensions established by contractors and assists in establishing and maintaining survey benchmarks
- Performs any other duties that may be directed by the Contract Administrators
- Communicate any safety issues, regardless of the severity to the Contract Administrators.
- Communicate data collection issues to the Contract Administrators.
- Input cost, progress and procurement information in JDE as required.
- Work alongside the contract administrators to process claim, invoices and close outs in JDE

**What will you contribute / requirements?**
- Knowledge of engineering design, architecture, or quantity surveying
- Previous working experience in the Construction industry is an asset but not required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Available to travel to various projects sites within Ottawa
- Valid driver’s license (Class G)
