**Transportation Coordinator**

National Shunt Service Ltd. operates across North America and we specialize in yard management (shunting). Over 20 years of experience providing innovative yard management services (operations and technology), NSSL executes a TOTAL YARD MANAGEMENT PROGRAM for any type of warehouse, manufacturer or cross-dock operation in North America. We call it shunting but you may know it as: spotting, jockeying, yarding or switching.

Reporting to National Quality and Assurance Manager, the Transportation Services Coordinator is responsible for all transactions including but not limited to, dispatching, reporting, metrics, as well as other transportation duties as assigned.

**Position Description**:

- Verify trailer’s location and status using our internal software and status and generate trailer status report.
- Dispatch assignment to drivers via system and phone when necessary.
- Enter maintenance POs into the tracking system
- Pull various reports and data as required.
- Provide updates to the operations team and clients as required
- Make service calls on behalf of the sites
- Maintain service records, permitting and licensing of NSSL equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the transportation industry would be considered an asset.
- French and English bilingual is an asset
- Past customer service or call center experience would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, team environment.
- High level of motivation and energy.
