Security Video Monitoring Operator

Position Summary
Stealth Monitoring offers exciting in-office positions allowing us to provide exceptional remote services to our customers. Our Operators are the heart and soul of our operation. They are passionate about our services and reputation and understand that Stealth can only continue to grow with their continued dedication. They are extremely detail-oriented and are effective communicators; working collaboratively with their peers and managers to deliver superior surveillance to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Site Monitoring_
- Coordinate responses to identified security events on a client’s site and contact the appropriate emergency service(s) to respond to a verified security event as needed
- Attain proficiency in the Detexi Video Management Software utilized to monitor client sites
- Monitoring Sureview sites
- Conduct video guard tours and immediate response to Detexi alarms when required
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols
- Ensure all systems are online, noting any malfunctions and notify the Monitoring Centre supervisor of all issues
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents on a site and prepare incident reports for any security events
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer facing role
- 6 months of experience in security

- Remain alert at all times during hours of employment
- Ability to sit for long period of time while carrying out monitoring function
- Ability to respond quickly and decisively to potential security situations
- Excellent team orientation
- Flexible in assuming assigned shifts
- Self-motivated and committed to constant learning
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Computer literate and excellent knowledge of video monitoring software used
- Highly detail oriented to ensure that all work performed is of the highest quality and meets all internal and external policy and procedural requirement
Working Conditions
- Office environment, IN-PERSON
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
- MUST be able to work overnights and weekends
