This position is responsible for office management and accountable for the setup and cost tracking of a project throughout their lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to, assigning costs to projects, ensuring projects stay on budget, maintaining positive client relations, as well as subcontractor and vendor management.

The office location that you will be based out of is located approximately 5 minutes south of Sherwood Park. As such, you will require a vehicle to get to and from work.

KEY SKILLS
- Proficient in Office 365, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of data entry accuracy.
- Strong office and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a small office situation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initial setup of jobs for tracking purposes.
- Monitor and maintain all project reporting including workbooks, project files and tickets.
- Assist with development, issuance and evaluation of project change orders as required.
- Monitor budget throughout the life of the project from initial bid to closeout audit.
- Provide internal detailed cost reporting, daily or weekly, as required.
- Prepare client reporting as required.
- Invoicing to clients, payments to vendors and project materials audit.
- Tracking of equipment mobilization and demobilization.
- Assist in maintenance of Master Asset Listing.
- Review worksite site performance of subcontractors with company safety personnel.
- Maintain all files regarding company equipment/vehicle insurance information and documents.
- Other tasks as required by company senior staff members.
- Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience may be acceptable as a substitute.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Business with a specialization in Accounting, or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience may be acceptable as a substitute.
- Knowledge of civil construction processes and terminology is an asset, including reading technical drawings and blueprints.
