The Waypoint Research Institute (WRI) is currently seeking two (2) part time Research Analysts. The incumbents will carry out a range of research activities within the Waypoint Research Institute. The project that the incumbents will support aims to examine and summarize existing research knowledge on coercive control in 2SLGBTQQIA+ relationships. The position may involve the following activities, conduct scoping review activities following PRISMA guidelines for Scoping Reviews including searches in electronic data bases, conduct duplicate titles and abstract, retrieve articles, prepare reports and briefs, consulting with stakeholders and participate in knowledge translation activities such as attending and presenting at conferences.
Located at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care in Penetanguishene, Ontario, the WRI contributes to the field of mental health by providing strategic leadership on research and academic issues; facilitating innovating science and high quality applied research that aligns with Waypoint priorities; fostering partnerships and research collaborations across Ontario, in Canada and internationally; prioritizing knowledge translation that improves mental health and addictions care; and offering mentorship opportunities for students and trainees in a unique facility.

Please Note: This position offers a hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. The office location is 500 Church St in Penetanguishene, ON._**
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Collaborate with research team/ librarian
- Conduct literature searches and reviews following PRISMA protocol
- Participate in data collection; prepare data entry forms; enter, verify and clean data
- Participate in data analysis plans and assist with data analysis and summaries of results
- Participate in project meetings
- Participate in outreach to stakeholders and knowledge users
- Assist in preparing reports, articles, and presentations; participate in presentations within the Waypoint Research Institute, attend conferences and other meetings as necessary
- Maintain a log of all research activities
**Requirements/Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s level degree (completed or pending) in a social science, criminal justice, or behavioural/life science field with relevant post-degree research training preferred
- Demonstrated experience in conducting or reviewing studies with qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis
- Experience in research with a record of achievement in scholarly work (presentations, completed research projects in work or senior undergraduate/graduate setting)
- TCPS2 Certification preferred
- Detail

- Results oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
- Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Proven written and verbal communication skills

- Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values, and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills
