**How you’ll contribute**

As our **Operations Manager,** you’ll serve as leadership for our Retail location and staff, ensuring full customer satisfaction with respect to the sale or rent of our Construction Equipment through:

- Always providing enthusiastic and professional customer service ensuring the resolution of any issues that may arise on a Supervisory level
- Training, coaching, and working on developmental plans with Associates, as well as acting
- Regularly stepping into the duties of Sales and Rental Associate as needed
- Working closely with the Branch Manager to develop annual plans and strategies for business growth
- Assisting the Branch Manager with coordinating daily activities of Full-Time and Part Time Sales Associates
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring adequate equipment quality and stock levels
- Anticipating product demand, tracking availability, and ensuring equipment is “rental ready”
- Processing the sale or rent of a variety of equipment, including but not limited to General Tools, Lawn & Garden equipment, Generators, Heaters, Light/Medium Construction equipment, etc.
- Coordinating equipment delivery/pick up and booking equipment reservations using our Rental Management computer system
- Possessing excellent knowledge on equipment such as operation, features, related accessories, safe operating techniques and effectively transferring this knowledge to customers
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing all required PPE
- General housekeeping, and maintaining a tidy and safe store environment
- Completing other duties as assigned

**What we’re looking for**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience within equipment rental, construction, home improvement centers or related industries
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Retail or Team leadership role
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
