National Bank is currently looking for a Chief advisor - Risk and Compliance to contribute to an important transformation digital project. You could be the person we're looking for

**Your role**
- Act as a compliance expert on a large-scale project aimed at setting up the technological foundations to simplify, standardize and accelerate the process of integrating and reviewing client files.
- Demonstrate leadership and be able to provide positions, guidelines and opinions related to regulatory compliance.
- Raise compliance issues and advise the project team on the directions to take.
- Act as a strategic partner in all activities related to the implementation of regulatory obligations
- Contribute to initiatives of a regulatory nature together with various stakeholders and to special projects that require a high level of expertise

**Competencies required**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree related to the sector of activity and at least 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in regulatory compliance or risk management, an asset
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge and understanding in AMLTF risks
- Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English is essential because you’ll regularly do business with partners across Canada or abroad
