**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest services while ensuring food preparation and handling meet our high standards. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers, assisting with their dining experience, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for processing customer orders and payments.
- Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, following proper food handling procedures.
- Perform cashiering duties accurately, including managing cash transactions and balancing cash drawers.
- Utilize time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen and dining area.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to upsell menu items through effective communication techniques.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of proper food handling practices is essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
