**POSTING**

In this role, you will:

- Supports the month end process including recording journal entries, as required, and reconciliations.
- Assistance preparing monthly financial statements.
- Contribute to detailed cost center analysis, research irregularities, and propose corrections.
- Assist the Controller to perform initial financial department audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Assist and support intercompany reconciliation and transfers as required.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Intermediate Excel skills (including v-lookup and formula execution)
- Use of financial reporting tools including experience with a large ERP, Hyperian (Onestream), Power
- 3-5 years of Accounting experience
- Ability to travel 10% of time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Experience in project accounting
- Advantage in holding, or close to obtaining, a professional accounting designation - CPA, CMA
- Knowledge of absorption accounting
- Knowledge of municipal and industrial water market landscape
