Relevant du directeur des ventes, Québec, le représentant des ventes techniques est responsable de solliciter de nouvelles opportunités de ventes tout en développant une base de clients sur le territoire de leur choix en faisant de la prospection de clients. Ils sont responsables de l'évaluation des besoins des clients en mesurant l'espace du bâtiment, de l'entrepôt ou du chantier, et en fournissant et calculant des soumissions et des prix aux clients.
- Réception et sollicitation de la clientèle, déplacements fréquents pour rencontrer les clients selon les demandes
- Évaluation des besoins des clients. Prendre les mesures de bâtiment, entrepôts et chantiers
- Rédiger les rapports détaillés pour dresser l'évaluation finale des projets
- Rassembler les informations et soumettre la demande du client au département de design si requis
- Déplacement fréquent chez la clientèle
- Évaluation et calcul des prix et des propositions
- Développement de territoire, prospection active «cold calls»
- Révision de la soumission avec le directeur selon la nature ou l'envergure du projet
- Préparer les soumissions et les présentations
- Présenter la soumission au client
- Divers suivis à effectuer auprès des clients par téléphone et par courriel
- Préparer et finaliser la commande du client à l'aide du logiciel « Softrack ». Attribuer le code d'inventaire aux produits vendus sur le bon de livraison selon le cas
- Préparer les bons de commande des fournisseurs pour commander les produits non inventoriés, selon le cas
- Tenir un « log » de soumission
- Tenir à jour les informations sur les contrats gagnés et perdus
- Assister à la réunion des ventes mensuelles avec le directeur général
- Préparer les prévisions budgétaires de ventes pour le mois à venir
- Préparer les prévisions budgétaires annuelles des ventes
- Suivre les formations au besoin
- Participer aux expositions et aux salons annuels
- Participer à l'inventaire annuellement
- Autres tâches connexes
**Qualifications**:
- Excellente connaissance de la suite Microsoft
- Bilinguisme oral et écrit
- Axé sur la résolution de problèmes et sur les résultats
- Détenir un permis de conduire valide
- Ponctualité, débrouillardise et polyvalence
- Bonne gestion des priorités
- Excellent service à la clientèle
- Habileté au travail d'équipe
