Duties:

- Maintaining and updating financial records in an organized manner
- Recording of all invoices for accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner
- Ensure company policies and procedures for all aspects of financial compliance are followed.
- Updating vendor and customer accounts appropriately.
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Assist management with prompt collection of Accounts Receivable.
- Generate financial reports for management to support decision-making.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal laws.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Pull WCB clearance letter prior to payment of any vendor or subcontractors.
- Multitask on multiple company files ensuring accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Performing other bookkeeping and administrative duties as requested.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years working experience
- Proven experience in corporate finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in using Sage 50
- Proficiency in using Microsoft platforms including excel, word,
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $31,983.24-$71,327.11 per year
