High Grade is a local company seeking a versatile individual for Class 1 Operator Position.

**Location**: Located approximately 30 minutes south of Vermilion, AB and approximately 30 minutes north of Wainwright, AB.

**Essential**: Hard working with strong work ethic, honest, punctual, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work independently physically demanding conditions.

Must be flexible as may be needed for possible evenings, weekends and on call.

**Job requirements**:
Must have experience operating Dump Truck with Pup, and Belly Dump Gravel Trailer.

Preform and document Pretrip / Post Trip Inspections, maintain Drivers Daily Logs.

Experience running some or all of the following equipment would be asset:
John Deere Motor Grader with attachments

Skid Steer

Back Hoe

Tractors

Hand Tools

Preform walk around inspections with high attention to detail.

Assist with general maintenance, upkeep, cleaning, labour tasks and duties as needed at shop, yard, or project site.

Preform any related and/or additional duties as assigned.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

Class 1 with air brakes with clean 5 year commercial abstract.

Drive with Manuel transmission.

Will need Valid H2S, and First Aid tickets.

Able to do other tasks besides driving including manual labour in-between hauling assignments.

Will need to have strong mechanical ability to preform routine maintenance and can or willing to learn for equipment overhauls.

Ability to work independently, follow direction, and attention to detail.

Must be able to read maps and find LSD locations.

Ability to speak, write, and read English is required.

Able to accept direction, a positive attitude, and able to work in a team environment.

Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing.

Willingness to be on call
