Solids Control Technician

Apex Oilfield Services is a privately owned company providing innovative rental solutions to the Canadian energy and infrastructure sectors.

As a thriving organization, we are looking to expand our team and seeking full-time, permanent **Solids Control Technicians **to support our Lloydminster branch. This position will be rotational based and require frequent travel within the area to rig up, service and optimize our solids control fleet.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Servicing, maintaining, and optimizing our suite of solids control equipment in the field (pumps, tanks, centrifuges and stands)
- Performing rig-ups to customer specifications
- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing any items in the shop or field found to be deficient
- Maintaining a high standard of quality control and organization
- Adhering to all company and industry procedures and safety requirements
- Working in the shop, yard, and other areas as required
- Previous rig, solids control, or derrick experience is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- The ability to prioritize and work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability and desire to learn

In order to be employable by Apex, you must complete a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, have a driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract and hold all necessary safety tickets. Previous rig or derrick experience is preferred and a Special Oilfield Boilers Ticket would be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Derrik: 1 year (preferred)
- Solids Control: 1 year (preferred)
- Oilfield: 1 year (preferred)
