**Optometric assistant**

Markham Stouffville Optometry is looking to hire an experienced optometric assistant. The practice is located in east Markham, ON. This full time position requires a Saturday weekend shift. Our office is closed Sundays, Tuesdays and Stat holidays. We are a new clinic with an experienced optometrist, looking forward to building a successful practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic, people-oriented optometric assistant to take on front-desk reception duties as well as eyewear sales and dispensing.

Responsibilities include:

- Schedule appointments
- Process insurance claims/billing
- Pre-testing
- Sell glasses and contact lenses
- Dispense, adjust and repair glasses
- Place job order and receive packages

Qualifications:

- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Multi-tasker and good time management skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Good interpersonal skills to create good experience for patients
- Speaks fluent Mandarin

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
