**Summary of Duties**:
Reports to the Manager III, Facilities Operations or designate. Takes supervision and direction from the Facilities Systems Tradesperson. Performs maintenance duties at various City facilities.

**Work Performed**:

- Maintains, inspects, tests and repairs building mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, and other building services and equipment in municipally owned and leased facilities.
- Cleans, lubricates and makes routine adjustments to building equipment and systems.
- Receives and prepares written instruction, prepares written reports, sketches and estimates.
- Uses power and hand tools, and electrical and mechanical test and repair equipment.
- Performs maintenance painting.
- Moves furniture and supplies as required.
- Cleans mechanical areas as required.
- Assists other trades in their work.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Shift work may be required.

**Qualifications**:
Building Environmental Systems Certificate or equivalent.

**Experience**:
One to two years' related experience.

**Specialized Training & Licenses**:
**Skills and abilities in the following areas are necessary**:
Valid Driver's Licence-Class G.

**Compensation & Other Information**:
$47,268 - $65,880 (Level 8)

This posting is for one (1) temporary full-time up to 1 year position.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shift work may be required.

Work Arrangement: On-site. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
