Williams Form Hardware & Rockbolt (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time maintenance assistant for our London, Ontario manufacturing facility. This position is Monday - Friday 7AM - 4:30. The role has several components, keeping our production machinery running, rental equipment maintenance, general building maintenance and some production if specific to tooling in the maintenance area.

Key responsibilities will include:
**Preventative Maintenance**:

- Regular inspection of production machinery.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks
- Clean and maintain production machines when required.

T**roubleshooting and Repair**:

- Diagnose mechanical issues.
- Disassemble and reassemble machine parts to access and repair faulty components.
- Replace worn or damaged parts.

**Rental Equipment - Maintenance/Calibration**
- Service and repair rental equipment
- Assemble hydraulic components
- Organization of rental fleet - returns and rentals
- Calibration of rental equipment

**Technical Skills**:

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of basic mechanical principles
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Basic machining skills
- Welding
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on machinery.
- Report any safety concerns or hazards immediately.

**Required qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a machine shop training program or relevant experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team effectively

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
