**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, confirmations, and rescheduling
- Maintain accurate patient records using Jane medical records systems
- Handle incoming calls on multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary
- Assist with insurance verification and processing of patient information
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially / Ensure patient confidentiality
- Washing and folding laundry
- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, stocking supplies in cabinets, and keeping the reception area clean and organized

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with Jane EMR is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Ensure patient confidentiality
- Experience with front desk operations and administrative tasks is essential
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient service

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Work Location: In person
