**Creative Door Services, North America’s largest overhead door dealer, operates nine branches across Western Canada and we have over 45 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. We provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators and associated controls.**

**Role**:
We have an immediate opening for a **Project Coordinator **in the **Calgary branch**. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator is part of the Commercial team and is responsible for building and maintaining sustainable relationships with our customers, primarily general contractors.

This role is a permanent, full time position with opportunities for continued growth and job task variety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building and maintaining relationships with our customers including general contractors, builders and retail consumers
- Coordination and management of multiple projects job files at a variety of stages throughout the construction process
- Managing the shop drawing approval process
- Entering orders
- Purchasing of materials
- Project coordination
- Contract document control
- Timely execution of project related tasks in order to meet contractor's construction schedule
- Assist in preparing quotes and estimates when required
- Maintaining high degree of organization and excellent customer service

**Skills**:

- Technical aptitude (ability to read construction drawings, general construction knowledge)
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Strong organization and decision-making ability
- Good negotiation skills and persuasive ability

**Qualifications**:

- 3 or more years of experience in commercial construction industry
- Experience in construction industries would be an asset
