You have a knack for building strong and trusting client relationships, leading projects across Alberta. You are highly organized, have a keen eye for detail and will lead complex projects from start to finish – on time, on budget and up to client expectations.By collaborating with local community leaders, you'll help deliver world-class facilities that improve the quality of life in communities across Canada, providing access to essential services like housing, education, and healthcare. Be part of the story that shapes the future and builds better places for people to live, meet, and connect.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectivesLead programs or work and large capital projects, varying in size and scope.Manage all stakeholders including both clients and consultantsEnsure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issuesSelect and organize project teams and establish levels of authority and lines of communicationLead the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance and compliance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System and proceduresChair project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholdersMaintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice PresidentReport on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reportsProvide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documentsQualificationsA university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience.A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope in a range of sectors including, particularly buildings and facilitiesExperience in public sector projects is an assetPMP designation is a definite asset and will be supported to completeExperience building and nurturing long-term client relationships and working collaborativelyExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Projects)What You Can ExpectAn opportunity to truly impact our communitiesA flexible work environmentA comprehensive onboarding experienceSignificant professional development, training, and a mentorship programA paid volunteer dayAn environment where people feel welcome, heard and included, regardless of their differencesAnd much moreColliers Project Leaders is an equal opportunity employer and celebrates diversity in its workforce.
