**Summary**:
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Inspect finished valves ensuring compliance to;
- Specifications and purchase orders
- Pertinent codes
- Industry Standards.
- Review all NDE results performed by 3rd party vendors ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Coordinate 3rd party inspection as needed.
- Review all results for modifications and testing by 3rd party vendors ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Review documentation for accuracy including;
- Mill Test Certificates
- NDE Reports
- Letters of compliance.
- Communicate on a daily basis to the Operations Manager;
- Incoming product
- Number of valves inspected
- Number of valves rejected.
- Identify, quarantine, and communicate to the Operations Manager any Non-Conforming product.
- Download and entry of MTR’s as received daily for shipments and project orders.
- Verification of product serial numbers versus MTR to ensure accuracy.
- Compile all related documentation for an order per customer requirements.
- Respond to customer requests for documentation.
- Maintain electronic Metal Trace Report database including.
- Scanning, retrieving, naming and filing of documentation
- Customer set up and access
- Communicating any inaccurate information
- Acting as a liaison with Houston MTR department on required amendments
- Ability to communicate with customers electronically and verbally in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and verification of information on reports for accuracy, as well as correcting errors as necessary.
- Complete periodic audits of metal trace system to ensure accuracy is maintained.
- Active participate and adherence to FET’s Health, Safey and Environment program.

**Skills/Knowledge**
- Previous experience with inspecting Valves is considered an asset.
- Knowledge on inspection protocol.
- Prior experience writing Non-Conformance reports.
- Familiar with NDE inspections.
- Knowledge of ERP (Business Central) systems an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of data entry while maintaining accuracy.
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Capable of changing tasks/direction while maintaining organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

**Education**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Experience**
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience and/or understanding of metallurgy considered an asset.
- Prior valve related experience preferred by not required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience using Metal Trace Software is considered an asset.
