**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take charge of annual licensing for all vehicles, ensuring seamless permit renewals, special permits, certifications, and compliance with all authorities.
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive truck operating authority binders.
- Prepare and manage paperwork for NY and IFTA tax filings with precision.
- Craft engaging job advertisements, conduct thorough interviews, facilitate test drives, and successfully hire top-tier drivers.
- Ensure effective driver orientation sessions are conducted.
- Implement strategies focused on driver retention and satisfaction.
- Conduct impactful driver reviews that foster growth and improvement.
- Order driver abstracts for annual reviews to maintain high standards.
- Assess, implement, and oversee robust training programs for all personnel.
- Provide consistent updates to records and generate insightful reports.
- Monitor, review, and ensure the accuracy of ELDs for full compliance.
- Efficiently update and assign tablets to enhance driver communication and performance.
- Lead accident investigations, conduct reviews, and take swift corrective actions when necessary.
- Enforce company policies with conviction.
- Prepare for and actively participate in audits and inspections.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- A solid 3 years of experience in a similar position within the industry is essential.
- A self-motivated individual who excels in accountability and accuracy regarding records and filings.
- A dedicated and reliable team player with a sense of urgency.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional note-taking abilities.
- Strong proficiency in information and technology.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Expected Hours**: 35 - 40 hours per week

**Schedule**: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday; weekends as needed.

**Education**:
Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:
Safety Compliance in Transportation: 3 years (required)
