**Role & Responsibilities**

**Here are some of the things you’ll be working on**:
**Payroll Responsibilities**
- Manage global full-cycle payroll for salaried, hourly, and contract staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support project time tracking via Office Timesheets (OTS) to support payroll and reporting.
- Enter and verify payroll data (e.g., timesheets, rate changes, overtime) prior to release.
- Process payroll updates including compensation changes, benefits, deductions, and year-end reporting.
- Collaborate with HR to coordinate payroll and benefits.
- Maintain compliant, audit-ready payroll records.
- Address employee payroll inquiries professionally.
- Support administrative tasks and generate reports for project and resource planning.
- Handle sensitive payroll information with discretion and confidentiality.

**Accounting Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform timely data entry
- Support existing accounts payable and receivables processes and team.
- Support the preparation of journal entries and documentation for month-end close.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial related reports.
- Monitor overhead budgets, track expenses, and assist in expense reporting.
- Assist with tax filings and reporting requirements (e.g., GST/HST, payroll deductions)
- Assist with the development and maintenance of internal financial procedures and controls.

**Qualifications**
- Post Secondary Education in Accounting, Payroll or Business Administration or equivalent field.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll roles and data manipulation
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of CRA remittance requirements and payroll best practices
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and payroll systems is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
