**Job description**
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Toronto team to oversee key client projects.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of projects, coordinating internal resources and collaborating with third-party vendors for seamless project delivery.
- Engage in consistent communication with stakeholders based in China, which may require occasional night hours (between 20:00-23:00 EST), regarding project progress.
- Ensure all projects are completed within defined timelines, adhering to specified scope and allocated budget.
- Develop and refine project scopes and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including those in different time zones, and assess client priorities and opportunities.
- Manage resource allocation, ensuring the availability of necessary personnel and materials.
- Create comprehensive project plans, detailing timelines, tasks, and milestones to monitor project progress effectively.
- Employ suitable verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Report and escalate project issues to management as required.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Develop and maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and communication logs.
- Take on additional duties and projects as assigned, contributing to overall team goals and objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills are necessary for building relationships with clients and collaborating with internal teams.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required, as the role involves communication with stakeholders in China.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask, are important for managing projects efficiently.
- Flexibility: The willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and night hours, is a key requirement due to the need to communicate with stakeholders in different time zones.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A self-starter who can take the initiative to identify and resolve problems is desirable, as this demonstrates problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork: The ability to work well independently and in a team setting is important for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is mentioned, which is commonly used for project management and communication.

**Travel**
Up to 30% of travel could be anticipated however that may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet project needs. Applicants must have US VISA or Canadian Passport.
