**Tire Technician responsibilities**:

- This position involves mounting and balancing new wheels and tires but does not require installation onto vehicles. The tires and wheels will be prepared for customer pick-up or shipping only._
- Inspect new wheels delivered for damage and to ensure the SKU/Part numbers match the build order
- Mount and balance the tires and wheels according to TIA (Tire Industry Association)
- If necessary, dismount tires from the wheels
- Make sure you have all the parts necessary to complete the order prior to assembling.
- Work closely in collaboration with the Technical Manager to maintain and strive for perfection
- Package Mount and Balanced orders for shipping or pick-up
- Clean up install area for the following day
- Support the shipping and/or receiving department when required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrate a positive attitude in work environment, even more so in a difficult situation, by remaining calm and stress resistant.
- Demonstrate a good sense of planning and organization of work.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of one year experience mounting and balancing tires
- Forklift operator credentials would be an asset
- Being able to do repetitive tasks
- To have a good physical endurance, being able to move regularly the goods that are 51 lbs. as OSHA guidelines
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least two years of shop/warehouse work experience
- Capable of working individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm (*Saturday Shift Maybe Requested)

Hourly: $20-$24 per hour

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Tire Installaion (*In Canada): 2 years (required)
- Mounting & Balancing Tires (*In Canada): 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Tire Industry Association (TIA) certificate (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

**Location**:

- Richmond Hill, ON (preferred)
