Areas of Responsibility:
Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and compiles information for the hotel's financial records.

Verifies all account postings and balances.

Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management. Be fully trained and equipped to handle all front desk services including guest arrival, departure, reservations, monetary transactions, and information and directions for the local area.

Perform Bucket Checks to ensure all information in the Property Management System is up-to-date and accurate.

Adhere to all established credit card security and inventory control policies.

Monitor guest accounts and gain additional approval/credit when needed.

Maintain cash bank (at exactly the amount issued) and properly record daily cash transactions and paid outs.

Properly balance daily transactions and close daily posting.

Create and transmit a daily Credit Card Settlement Batch.

Run a nightly backup of the Property Management System.

Respond effectively to guest complaints/issues.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.* Previous experience is preferred.* Must have good computer skills.* Must display very good organization and time management skills.* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Must be available to work any day of the week, 10pm -8am

Job is mainly weekends
