**Job Summary**

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP), a subsidiary of Z’gamok Enterprises Inc., an Indigenous business fully owned by Sagamok Anishnawbek, provides a diverse range of services across multiple business segments, including construction, haulage, underground mining services, and commercial janitorial.

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Field Service Technician.

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment defects while providing support and assistance to Z’gamok Construction LP’s mechanical shop and various site locations.

**Duties**
- Diagnose, service and repair heavy equipment and fleet vehicles as required
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections on a variety of equipment and fleet vehicles
- Perform brake, safety, and PM inspections including road tests and safety inspections
- Complete work order forms for assigned jobs
- Conduct tasks assigned, maintaining communication and providing updates as needed
- Actively communicate with the purchasing department to ensure required parts are ordered, including tracking orders and following up when required
- Prepare all required parts before visiting job sites
- Maintain organized and tidy work environment including required tools for the job
- Complete and maintain proper documentation as needed
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class G Driver’s License; willing to upgrade to DZ License
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Field Service Mechanic
- Heavy Equipment License or Truck and Coach License
- Knowledge of CAT ET and SIS systems is an asset
- Knowledge of working on crushers and screening plants is considered an asset
- Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical repairs
- Knowledge of CAT and JOHN DEERE engine and def system is considered an asset
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Working outside in all weather conditions
