**Junior Real Estate Lawyer**

**Company Overview: We are a reputable law firm located in Oshawa, Ontario. Our firm is known for its commitment to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction. We are currently seeking a full-time, motivated and detail-oriented Junior Real Estate Lawyer to join our dynamic team.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**1. Conducting title searches, due diligence, and reviewing property documents.**

**2. Drafting and reviewing real estate agreements, status certificates and other legal documents.**

**3. Assisting senior lawyers with real estate transactions, including purchase, sale, and leasing of both commercial and residential properties.**

**4. Providing legal advice to clients on various real estate matters.**

**5. Liaising with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions. This may include opportunities to provide presentations to various real estate stakeholders outside of the office.**

**6. Assisting in the resolution of legal issues and disputes related to real estate transactions.**

**Qualifications**:
**1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree or L.L.B. from a recognized law school.**

**2. Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.**

**3. 0-5 years of experience in real estate law.**

**4. Strong understanding of Ontario real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.**

**5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.**

**6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.**

**7. Experience using Teraview, Conveyancer, Unity and/or Closer platforms, together with ordering title insurance through various providers.**
