The Opportunity
Responsibilities- Track and categorize monthly expenses, regularly compare actual spending against the budget to identify variances and collaborate with the Procurement team to find cost-saving opportunities each quarter.- Collaborate with various departments, such as Manufacturing, Security, and Finance to optimize processes, improve services, and avoid unnecessary spending.- Communicate effectively with team, contractors and suppliers.- Providing administrative support to the Facilities department. Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, including performing administrative tasks, and managing vendor interactions.- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.- Ensure compliance with safety protocols.- Organize and participate in team-building activities and social events.- Oversee locker rooms, uniforms and safety footwear to ensure proper use and maintenance.- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Background- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a focus on operational efficiency, event planning and budgeting.- Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and solve problems to manage multiple tasks and projects.- Attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all communications and tasks.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
