Queens Village for Seniors is a Retirement Home located in the community of London, Ontario. Currently, we have a Full-Time position open for a person to oversee the maintenance of the facility.

We are looking for a skilled **Maintenance Manager **to perform tasks such as repairs and upkeep. You will be responsible for basic repairs to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with contractors and other professionals
- **Requirements**
- Proven experience with hands on maintenance for a multi-unit facility
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to paint a room
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Great attitude and patience, especially working with Seniors

Work Remotely
- No

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call

Work Location: In person
