**Key Responsibilities**:
**Social Media & Content Creation**
- Develop, plan, and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to enhance community engagement and awareness.
- Create compelling and informative posts featuring statistics, facts, survivor stories (where appropriate), and observances related to GBV/IPV.
- Utilize Canva to design high-quality graphics, posters, and promotional materials for events and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance to optimize content strategies and audience engagement.
- Design and distribute monthly newsletters using Mailchimp, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
- Maintain and organize donor and supporter databases for effective communication and outreach.

**Event & Fundraising Support**
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, community outreach programs, and awareness campaigns.
- Liaise with third-party organizers to coordinate marketing efforts for joint events and fundraisers.
- Design event-related marketing materials, including flyers, invitations, and social media graphics.

**Public Relations & Strategic Marketing**
- Develop and implement strategic PR and marketing plans to enhance visibility and support for Green Haven Shelter for Women.
- Craft compelling narratives that highlight the impact of GBV/IPV, survivor experiences, and the shelter’s role in advocacy and support.
- Write articles, press releases, and blog posts to educate the public and drive engagement.
- Work with media outlets and community partners to promote Green Haven’s mission and initiatives.

**Website & Digital Presence**
- Update and maintain the organization’s WordPress website with new content, event details, and resource materials.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all digital platforms to reinforce branding and awareness.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of gender-based violence, intimate partner violence, and advocacy work within the Ontario/Canadian context is preferred.
- Proficiency in social media management, including content strategy and analytics.
- Graphic design skills with experience using Canva.
- Knowledge of WordPress for website updates and maintenance.
- Strong writing skills, with experience in crafting articles, newsletters, and fundraising campaigns.
- Background in fundraising, donor engagement, and nonprofit marketing strategies.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and PR plans.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.

21-25 hours a week
