A leading Machining and Tool Design Manufacturing Company is looking for an Operations Manager with the prior experience in CNC machining environment in Etobicoke, Ontario.

**Essential Job Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations**:

- Plan, direct, and coordinate functional areas of activities, including receiving, order processing, materials management, and cost control.
- Design and implement plans for the effective use of material and labor resources to achieve the manufacturing target
- Monitor workflow throughout the plant, investigating unusual delays and problem areas, and then take appropriate action.
- Coordinate activities and assure communication between departments, shifts and customers.
- Participate in and conduct various meetings to coordinate operational activities, control processes, and address problem areas.
- Ensure all operating objectives, goals, and performance standards are communicated throughout the operation
- Organize training programs to enhance personnel job skills and knowledge for both new and existing employees
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment required for manufacturing
- Monitor and control a production process to adjust operations in the event of a problem
- Ensure production complies with established quality control specifications and standards.
- Assure appropriate work schedules and staffing levels while reducing the incremental cost of utilizing overtime labor.
- Ensure that good housekeeping and safe operating procedures and practices are followed throughout the facility
- Ensure that security posture is updated and maintained according to industry best practices.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years of Operational, Supervisory or Managerial Experience.
- **Experience with CNC Machining(Milling and Laithe) is an asset**:

- Strong skill set in Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively manage a team.
- Experience working in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
- Highly organized and must fluently communicate and write in English
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Mechanical and Technical aptitude and experience would be considered is an asset.
- **Knowledge and experience within a machining and tool designing manufacturing company would also be considered an advantage**

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
