We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and efficient team member, who is self-motivated with excellent organization, verbal and written skills.

Monday to Thursday, and could be an extra day in future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed, Supporting the daily operation of the office, clinically and administratively, optimize the time and schedules of the dental professional team by minimizing gaps between appointments
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
- Maintaining and Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Determining and confirming insurance coverage, explaining costs and insurability to patients, processing billing and following up on accounts receivable
- Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
- Chair-side assisting, including preparing patients, sterilization, room setup and cleanup, x-ray processing, pouring and trimming models, handling of emergency patient and assist in dental procedures as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certifications required (must have): Dental Assistant Level 2, HARP, CPR/First Aid
- Prior experience and knowledge of Abeldent and Microsoft Office is required
- Dental office managerial experience is an asset
- Dental office experience (must have) - 5 years or more
- Ability to function and work cooperatively with all team members
- Excellent (oral and written) communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and appropriately prioritize in a dynamic environment

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- BEAMSVILLE, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dental office: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Dental Assistant - Level 2 certificate (required)
