We have developed our industry through outstanding innovation and a commitment to operational excellence. Purity has a job opportunity for a full-time **Wellness Order Picker/Packer,** on contract until April 30, 2026, at our Burnaby facility.

**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Order Picker/Packer will mainly be responsible for the accurate filling of orders in the warehouse, meeting expectations of productivity and accuracy. They are expected to be familiar with all aspects of general warehouse operations. As part of the warehouse workgroup, they may also be expected to take on a variety of functions and tasks within the warehouse, as well as additional tasks as necessary and as assigned.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
This full-time position is Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It is a contract role from date of hire until April 30, 2026. Physical fitness is a necessity to do this work, as heavy lifting is sometimes required. The position is standing/walking for the majority of the shift. The rate of pay is $21.75/ hour, with shift premiums ($1/ hour) for hours worked after 9:00 pm.

**DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES**:
ORDER PICKING:

- Accurately fill orders and file paperwork.

- Maintain expected standards of productivity for order-picking.

- Adhere to all safety requirements while operating equipment and working in a busy warehouse environment.

- Maintain tidy and accessible warehouse and shelving.

- Note expiry dates on perishable products, and ensure that customers do not receive short-dated product. Follow shrinkage procedures when dates of product in stock are close to expiry.

ORDER PACKING:

- Repacking product in a safe and stable manner so the product arrives at the customer in excellent condition.

- Check all orders packed to ensure orders are free from errors.

- Correctly enter: customer name, address, piece count and weight on carton labels and BOL labels.

- Build pallets which are stable, well-balanced, and easy to get accurate piece counts for shipping purposes.

- Familiarity with the different types of orders (pick-ups, ship outs, and deliveries); ensuring that the orders are prepared and labeled correctly.

- Familiarity with shipping schedule and daily priorities for orders going out.

OTHER DUTIES, AS ASSIGNED:

- Repackaging Save-on-Foods specific Items

- Shipping

- Receiving

- Stocking

- General warehouse housekeeping and cleanup

- Inventory, and other tasks related to ongoing warehouse operations

- Other tasks, as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

- Good physical endurance and fitness

- Able to lift up to 50lbs and meet the physical expectations of the job

- Good attention to detail and accuracy

- Can meet productivity expectations

- Provide good customer service

- Work as part of a team

- Ability to utilize computer programs for the warehouse as needed and as trained
