**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Education Assistant** to join our team. In this role, you will support teacher effectiveness by working directly with children who require individualized support for significant developmental or behavioral challenges—while promoting their independence and growth.

**About Us**

We provide Early Childhood Services to children aged 3-5 who require additional support in preschool, daycare, and kindergarten settings. As an Education Assistant, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that includes parents, program teachers, a certificated teacher, and a multidisciplinary therapy team. Together, we create inclusive, nurturing environments where every child can thrive.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide care and supervision for preschool-aged children
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Support children’s learning in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development
- Monitor and document children’s progress, sharing observations with the teaching team
- Assist with classroom and behavior management strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

**Qualifications**
- Level 1 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification, or currently working toward completion
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children (required)
- Experience supporting children with behavioral or developmental challenges
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and inclusive practices
- Must have a current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (international applicants will not be considered)
