**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily motel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Supervise and motivate staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Handle POS transactions accurately using onsite POS system
- Lead team management efforts, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Address customer inquiries and resolve service issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of supplies
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff
- Assist in hotel management tasks such as budgeting, planning, and implementing operational improvements
- Assist in managing and forecasting room rates for future season.
- Able to perform and lift heavy equipment when doing housekeeping.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in hotel/motel management
- Strong leadership abilities with previous supervising or team management experience
- Skilled in managing the PMS system.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of hotel operations,
- Hospitality background including hotel or barista experience is advantageous
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Ability to perform housekeeping tasks if and when needed
- Skilled in cleaning and housekeeping in order to train future employees.

Pay: $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
