**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
- Follow care plans accurately and document observations or changes in condition for healthcare team review.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia care, working with people with disabilities, and medication administration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for client mobility or transfers.
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor essential for working with seniors and individuals with special needs.
- Valid certification or training in caregiving or nursing is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is required.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends based on client needs.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
