Customer Care Representative

**DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW**
Activate is a tech company known for its interactive gaming facilities. We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Customer Care Representative. In the position of Customer Care Representative, you will work independently or with a small team to support all national and international customers.
**SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Act as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries for all locations.
- Answers inbound and places outbound calls in a call center with the goal of increasing business, customer satisfaction, and customer retention.
- Takes care of complex customer inquiries and problems, having experience and advanced knowledge.
- Draft status reports on customer service issues.
- Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer issues.
- Requires a higher degree of skill and ability to explain most complex matters to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and to sell services, and may require considerable adaptation in response to the particular customer in order to achieve success.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2 or more years of previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral.
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM
- Experience with ticketing systems would be considered an asset.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, primarily evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to work as early as 9 am and as late as 1 am, depending on shift.
- Access to reliable transportation during the mentioned hours.
