**Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society is currently seeking a hard-working individual who wants to grow in a non-profit agency. We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**As Maintenance Worker your key responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to, the following**:

- **Respond to maintenance needs as they arise in a timely fashion.**

  • **Monitoring the physical condition of the facilities and taking necessary corrective action wherever required; addressing general carpentry, painting, flooring, renovation, or upkeep needs**:
  • **Performing minor building repairs of the painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and structural components of residential and/or commercial Properties. Seeking the assist of certified contractors (HVAC, Electrical etc.) as needed to complete tasks if beyond general repair**:
  • **Repair and maintain building equipment and appliances as needed and support Maintenance Lead to coordinate repairs with outside contractors as needed**:
  • **Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures**:
  • **Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal, yard work as required**:
  • **Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or coworkers**:

- **Assist with planning and building smaller renovation projects on sites**

- **Replace broken windows; Door repairs**

  • **Must be able to lift 25lbs minimum weight.**

**Qualifications**

- **Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems**

- **Experience using hand and electrical tools**

- **Very good communication and interpersonal skills**

- **Physical stamina and dexterity**

  • **High school diploma or equivalent**
